Investment
Dr. Thome is an in network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and can bill BCBS directly for testing services provided. Each plan differs in coverage and some clients will have out of pocket expenses. After the intake appointment, an estimate of testing hours and billing codes will be provided to the client so they can verify their benefits with their insurance prior to beginning the evaluation. Clients are responsible for any costs not covered by their insurance plan.
Dr. Thome is out of network for all other insurance companies. Clients can request a superbill to submit to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. This will be provided to the client once their full bill has been paid.
Our practice is committed to making evaluations and mental health care accessible to all individuals. We are happy to discuss payment options and offer reduced cost evaluations when appropriate.
Process
Initial Consultation
Clients can connect with our team by sending a consultation request on the contact page. We will schedule a brief 15-20 minute phone consultation to answer any questions and determine next steps. There is no charge for the initial consultation.
Intake Appointment
Clients will meet with Dr. Thome and Mrs. Arun to discuss presenting concerns and goals for the evaluation. This appointment is completed in person or by tele-health and is scheduled for 60-90 minutes.
Assessment Plan
An individualized assessment plan will be created and tailored to the unique needs and goals of the client. The scope of the plan will be reviewed with the client prior to beginning the evaluation.
Comprehensive Evaluation
The assessment process will occur over 1-3 testing sessions. Each session will be scheduled for 2-3 hours. The length of time and amount of sessions is determined based on the needs of the individual and scope of the evaluation.
Report and Feedback Session
A report will be provided during the feedback session. The results of the evaluation and recommendations will be discussed during this session. This appointment can be completed in person or by tele-health and is scheduled for 60-90 minutes.
Continued Support and Consultation
Our practice offers ongoing therapeutic support and professional consultation services. We prioritize integrated care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary network of community partners, including pediatricians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists. We also assist families in navigating the educational system to secure essential school accommodations and supportive services.
